Due to the increasing expense companies are incurring when making a hire, more and more companies are taking longer to convert candidates over to their payroll. As with everything in today’s economy, the hiring process is changing. In this uncertain time that we live in, Accounting Resources is trying to help where we can. Offering benefits to contract workers is one way we can help.
A candidate is eligible for benefits once 1600 hours have been worked in a 12 month time period. These hours can accumulate with one assignment or multiple assignments. Our benefits include, holiday pay, direct deposit, On-line access to your paycheck, and a Simple IRA Savings Plan.
Holiday Pay
Below are the holidays Accounting Resources offers to all eligible candidates working for Accounting Resources on a temporary basis. Once you are eligible for holiday pay you will receive an email with all the specific details.

- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Direct Deposit
Accounting Resources can deposit your paycheck directly into your checking or saving account in any banking institution. In most cases, your direct deposit can be activated in the next payroll cycle immediately following the payroll department receiving your paperwork.
On-line Access to Paycheck
The on-line access to your paycheck is a helpful tool to manage your expenses. Accounting Resources has the ability to email you a link giving you access to your paycheck prior to you receiving it. All candidates are eligible for this benefit immediately if requested.
Simple IRA Savings Plan
Now more then ever it is important to build your future investments. The ability to save on a pretax basis is a huge advantage to securing that future. Once eligible, you can start contributing to this plan once your paperwork has been submitted.
